Where can I do peace education fieldwork in the Kansai region?

Utoro Peace Memorial Museum (Uji City, Kyoto) is one of Kansai’s established peace education sites. Unlike sites focused solely on wartime suffering, Utoro addresses what came after the war too — continued discrimination, resistance to hate crimes, and neighborhood rebuilding — through fieldwork in the actual district. Accessible from Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara, and regularly included in school trip itineraries.
