The Utoro Peace Memorial Museum (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information. When handling personal information, the Museum complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws and regulations, and strives to appropriately handle such information as outlined below.

To practice the protection of personal information, the Museum establishes the following “Privacy Policy” as a basic guideline, publicly shares it with staff and the public, and commits to its implementation and continuous maintenance.

The personal information provided will be used and shared only within the scope of specific purposes necessary for the Museum’s legitimate operations, including employment and personnel management. It will not be used for any other purposes without the individual's consent. Measures will be taken to prevent such unauthorized use.

The Museum takes necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the security of personal information and to prevent leakage, loss, or damage. The Museum will also continuously review and improve its management practices.

The Museum will not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s prior consent, unless required by law.

If an individual requests the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information, the Museum will respond appropriately in accordance with the law.

The Museum may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary.
