As a pre-event to the Utoro Art Festival scheduled for 2025, Utoro Forum 2024 will be held at the Utoro Peace Museum.

It’s a symposium to discuss the themes of mobility, life, and hope, in anticipation of the art pieces gathering for the 2025 event.

Panelists include the author of “Living and Dying in Utoro,” Il-Son Nakamura, along with history researcher Sara Sven, art historian Rin Shiraishi, and Emiko Kita.

Performances by the Utoro Agricultural Music Band, Japanese rapper Funi, and the ethnic entertainment group “Donum” from Incheon, South Korea, are also scheduled.

The event will primarily be conducted in Japanese.
